BONES FANS!
As you know after Oti and I printed our copies of the book and shipped to Cheryl, she pieced the books together and handled getting the books shipped to Eric Millegan & Kathy Reichs. We already got a wonderful email from Eric! You can read it here at the Boneyard, (http://forums.fox.com/foxbones/messages?msg=7684.1). We ask that everyone post a thank you to him for helping us with all the shipping!
AND . . . this past week Cheryl received a postcard from Kathy Reichs giving thanks for the book that she received. We were once again ecstatic! We have uploaded a photo of the postcard for all of you to see. This is your thanks for your appreciation and dedication to the show she has inspired. Relish it!

"I saw on the message board that you were all waiting to hear what we thought of the book. It's wonderful, thanks. I looked through it with TJ, Tamara, and Michaela soon after we received it. We especially liked the I-pod takes on our characters. Very cool. It's really great to have such supportive fans who really like the show. I know that it was passed onto Emily but I haven't talked to her about it. I'm sure she loves it. David should get it next and then Hart and the producers/writers. And then I asked the woman from the crew who I assigned to pass it around to give it back to me so that I could look at it again. Thanks for putting it together. We definitely appreciate your appreciation.

BIG NEWS!
Books have been put together and SHIPPED. Today Cheryl shipped of one complete copy to Kathy Reichs and one complete copy to Eric Millegan who will take it to work with him to share with everyone. A link to this site is in the back of the book for any of the cast/crew to download.
Eric Millegan says he will e-mail us a confirmation when he receives the package and we will update you then.
Below is a list of downloads for you. I know, I know...how many times have we done this? A million, but we wanted you to all stay up to date while we made changes and we all know there have been lots of changes.

The Biggest Change
The Book was way to big to be a scrapebook. So we made the decision to use a Binder. Hopefully most of you will agree that it looks sharp, neat, and the contributions are more protected. We were completely against the idea of a binder but after seeing it we were very pleased. The reason it wouldn't fit is because the book itself turned out to be 184 pages long! Now the download is a few pages longer because of font changes but it's the same. Pictures are below under the list of links. We hope you will be happy with it, we think it looks great and with all the passing around it will go through it is a lot more protected.
We also tried very hard to meet every one's download needs. At the end of this post you will find SIX different places to go to and download the book. If none of these will work for you please email us. You can find that address in the side column of this page. The downloads will also be placed there for future use. Any of you can take any of these links and share them anywhere, post them anywhere, and host them on your sites.

Edit: Yikes! I did a crap job on editing those photos. I was in a hurry to get the pics up for all of you, not to mention the multitude of kids here. I normally do a much better job. -Crystal
Also...On some quote pages in the downloadable version of the book the fonts differ. This is not so for printed versions of the book. I can't guarantee that they won't find a couple of flaws in the book maybe a missing letter or two, but the font errors are pretty obvious in the downloadable version and I just wanted to make sure you knew that we corrected that during the printing process.

I have shipped my copy to Cheryl! She'll have it Wednesday and then she can officially start piecing together both scrapebooks. My copy had a couple of things in it that she needed for both books so she's had to wait on my copy before getting started.
We recieved an email from Eric Millegan checking on the progress. He seems excited to receive it which should of coures excite all of you! I'll update Wednesday when I get confirmation that Cheryl has my copy.

Cheryl recieved Oti's copy. I am most likely shipping tomorrow. Cheryl will compair the two for errors when she gets mine and then put both books together. I'll post when I ship. She's only a state away from me so hopefully she'll be busy peicing the books together by the end of the week.

PRINTING IS DONE!
Oti has SHIPPED to Cheryl. I'll be shipping today or tomorrow hopefully. I'll update when I ship. Now all that has to happen is Cheryl receive them put them in the book and ship them to Eric Millegan and Kathy Reichs. At that point we will send links out to any media resource that we can think of and let them in on the project we've all put together. Who knows maybe we'll get Bones some publicity...you never know.
If you have some media resources....newspapers that you know have covered bones before, blogs online that blog about bones from time to time, tv stations....any media resources that you know of; comment below with their website. We'll post a list at a later time of who we emailed, but that will come after we actually ship the books off to EM and KR.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to update you all on the progress of the book. No, we have not gone on hiatus with the show (insert laugh). We had a smooth run of things for a while and now life keeps rearing its ugly head and getting in the way. Oti is a doctor and has gotten slammed at work. She is using her spare time to print and will ship as soon as she can. I have all the text printing and half the graphics, ran out of ink, lost some cords, have five kids blah blah blah....you know you all have lives too, anyway I should be shipping soon. Cheryl got us a shipping address from the Official Eric Millegan site so that is where we will be shipping. She is waiting on Oti and I so that she can piece it together and ship it to him. He seemed very excited about the book in his reply back to Cheryl and loves the fact that we love the show so much. We were unable to get a confirmed shipping address for Kathy Reichs so we will most likely send her copy to Eric Millegan as well with hopes that it will get to her.
Please do not request this address from us personally. Contact information can be found at ericmillegan.com and you can email him to request information you might be seeking.
We will let you know as soon as Oti and I ship to Cheryl which shouldn't be too much longer, please be patient with us. We are very frustrated that we have not been able to do a faster job. On the up side of it taking us so long the cast/crew will be back to work this upcoming month so at least Eric Millegan will receive the book while working, which probably makes it easier for him share it amoung the crew.

WE'RE DONE!!!!!!
EDIT: Not so much, still adding and fixing things new link coming at the very end once shipping is complete...but we are working on shipping addresses and printing!

All errors are fixed. We about ran ourselves, esp Oti, crazy having to go back and redo and redo and redo and then when we would think we were done, redo again! So if you happen to find a few in the final version keep it a secret lol.
We did a test print and the symbol that is used throughout the book was fuzzy. So we have had to find another way of placing the symbol on the pages so that it is a nice clean print. All this work and then send a fuzzy print to them, I don't think so. But this means that we have to go through out the entire book and replace each symbol. We are spliting it up now and should be done within the week, but don't hold us to it we are busy busy mommas and career women :D We'll update soon.

We are on our last round of error fixing but we will be taking a break this week. Firstly we are working out eyes and fingers a lot to get the book done. Lots of emails, instant messaging, redoing and redoing and redoing...we're a little tire. Plus one of us has vacation and another has 16 hour shifts all week long so we'll get back to business on March 5.
The book is coming along great we've added more stuff and it just keep getting bigger. Try to have a Happy Bones' Break, Bones will be back before you know it!

You will need winrar to extract the compressed file before viewing it in adobe.
You have one week to help us correct any flaws. Get the word out, help us one last time to make sure there are no mistakes. Deadline to correct any mistakes or tell us of any contribution that has been left out will be February 7.
If there are no mistakes this will be the final downloadable link!
We have had so much fun working on this project and feel that the boneyard as well as other Bones' fans are represented well!
WE ARE VERY EXCITED! We will be posting this a multiple communities so please don't be mad if this is on your flist a lot right now.

In the works:
A "Goodman Section" full of quotes about Goodman.
A page with the graphic contest winner.
The halloween and Christmas stuff will go to the back with a title page.
Extra pages full of random fan's quotes will be placed within the book. [My back is healed and I have finished this and sent it to Oti and Cheryl for approval]
The contributions will be rearranged to balance out the graphics and text contributions.
Awaiting one last contribution before everything is arranged merged and uploaded and then ready for print.

Things are a little slow. We have some emails to answer, we got some contributions fixed and added. I hurt my back and can't stay on the computer long so I'm slowing things down.
We have backed up everything so far we all have it on our computers and uploaded online...it's unfinished it's like a "raw backup" so to speak in case something horrible happened. Every time we see the contributions we get more and more impressed by you all.
Don't worry if you haven't been replied to yet by email and we will get it all wrapped up soon.....just wanted to give ya a little update.

WHEW...we are working hard! Oti is getting some resized and fixing some things. We have been at it all day. Oti is on a 2 wk vacation and of course I stay home so we emailed ALL DAY LONG. Then cheryl got home from work, she did a lot of emails from work too and now we are in a chat room together just working working. The PDF file you guys are seeing...I'm telling you it just isn't the same as what I'm seeing after Oti finishes with them. You all have done such a great job.
Oti and I went through a lot today of figuring out how to resize with out loosing quality. She is much better at that than I am at that and is doing a great job. I am working on typing up a lot of extra random quotes from the fans from all over. Mostly at the boneyard. We will insert pages of quotes through out the book, should look great.
Goodman Section is complete
We have to make a title for the halloween/christmas section...any suggestions?
For those of you under the age of 18:
Some of you had too much personal info. Some of you who are seventeen were still allowed some personal information but anything under that age that had last names and the residence was edited out. Don't get mad just understand that we did this out of fun and nothing takes the fun out of something more than an angry parent hunting you down, I know I am a parent. Your parents may be okay with it and may have approved it but we have no way of knowing that. So if you find some of your info gone, please understand why we have done that.
